Why would they do that,the two iPods are totally different. I ordered the case for the iPod touch 1G and they sent me the case for the Classic iPod instead. I called and informed them of the error and they said they ran out of the 1G cases and instead sent me the Classic case. I had to send it back and ask for a refund since they are still out of stock. Very disappointed.
Recently, however, the case has become looser in fit around the ipod (I guess that leather probably streches over time) which wouldn't be a problem except the other day my ipod actually fell out when I was tilting it to play a game. So I've had this case for about 9 months now. This is due to the lack of secure closure on the inside left of the cover. When I first got it, I was very impressed with the overall quality and look (I have the orange and white one.love the available colors) with the only downside being that the screen is a little off in alignment with the cut-out hole. After about 2-3 months, the velcro on the side tab became pretty much useless and no longer sticks. Luckily my ipod didn't break (it feel only a short distance onto plush carpet), but I'm currently looking for a new, more secure cover. I wouldn't recommend this case for the long run.
I have the case for a few months now. The cover on the face side started to wear off at the place where the velcro is attached. And the whole case just is not that tight anymore. My ipod slides out sometimes when I open the case.
This case is perfect for those who want a to protect their Ipod Touch in a stylish way instead of having to always pick black. Yes this case dose come with a screen,but be careful when you open it because I almost lost my screen because it is so small and thin. So keep a close eye when you open it.
After doing A LOT of research (and not finding much), I decided to go ahead and purchase this case. So I got the new Ipod Touch 2G and for some reason nobody (not even the Apple store). I'm really glad I did because it fits my ITouch 2G perfectly (and looks great.I lovvve the color combo). has any cases out for it yet. The back of the ITouch gets realllyy scratched up, no matter how careful you are with it so you definitely need a case. It's nice and soft on the inside and very sturdy on the outside so I know my ITouch is protected when it's in my handbag or pocket. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I think it should have a belt clip.other than that it's great.Overall I'm really happy with this product.
